A shot of two former Quinte Saints 40 years later. Dave Fisher and wife Brenda do a rehearsal for the Reunion by visiting Bill Burley at his home near Lake Tahoe, California during July 2003.

All plan on attending the reunion (except the duck).

The attached photo is of me, Carl Luttrell, class of '62, with 1916 Ford. This 9-year project just finished this summer. My wife Anne and I hope to drive something a little more modern to the reunion. Looking forward to seeing old classmates.

This is me and my fire department brothers (FDNY), on a visit to Manhattan late 2001 (in case you were wondering, I'm the shrimpkin in the middle!!).
Sorry I won't be bringing these guys along with me to the reunion!!

Hi there, I wanted to share this picture of a football practice in the late 1960's that was featured in the Intelligencer of my husband, Brian Hennessy (centre), Tom Helm (right) and Ron Guay (left)(now deceased). Go Saints Go!
We hope to see many of our friends at the Reunion!

Quinte grads: Eric Baragar, Mike Goettler, Tim Campbell and Dave Conley along with Moira grad, Steve Smith were Quinte's most "famous" rock group of the 1960's. Their record, "I've Got A Feeling" made it to #2 on the Canadian charts and became a springboard for a variety of musial careers and endeavours. Today, each member is still performing and, as seen in this photo from May 2001, still get together from time to time for charitable and special events.

Quinte's most "famous" rock group the Sands of Time shown in this promotional photo from 1969 included Quinte grads, Eric Baragar, Mike Goettler, Tim Campbell and Dave Conley. Moira grad, Steve Smith was also in the group. Their record, "I've Got A Feeling, made it to #2 on the Canadian charts at a time when the Canadian music scene was just beginning to develop international artists like the Guess Who, Gordon Lightfoot, Ann Murray, Joni Mitchell, and Trooper. Each member of the group is still performing and recording today. <<...>>

Here is a picture of Gwen Holt and Janet Wingrove performing "If You Knew Suzy" at the February 1968 Variety Revue. Janet and I only missed performing in one at that was the year the Drama Club did H.M.S. Pinafore. We were Go-Go Girls with red bell bottom, witches in our grade 11 interpretation of MacBeth, sang with the Glee Club and really just had a ball. We both plan to be at the reunion and look forward to seeing some of our high school buddies.

Sincerely, Gwen Martin

Here is a photo of the Canadian Question Bee Champions, 1961 from Quinte Secondary School. I wonder where the trophy has gone?

The photos were taken in the back parking lot of the highschool, winter of 1961. These photos were used for promoting the musical,

Recently I found Brian's QSS football jacket and had him "try it on" and here is the result of that BIG adventure. That's Tom Helm helping him get out of it! My how we have grown!
Cheers, Sue Hennessy...See you @ the reunion

Here is a cute one I received from a friend. Thought that you might be able to use it some way. We are getting excited thinking about the reunion. Hope everything is working out fine. See you there.

The CLASS REUNION
>
>
>Every ten years, as summertime nears,
>An announcement arrives in the mail,
>A reunion is planned; it'll be really grand;
>Make plans to attend without fail.
>
>I'll never forget the first time we met;
>We tried so hard to impress.
>We drove fancy cars, smoked big cigars,
>And wore our most elegant dress.
>
>It was quite an affair; the whole class was there.
>It was held at a fancy hotel.
>We wined, and we dined, and we acted refined,
>And everyone thought it was swell.
>
>The men all conversed about who had been first
>To achieve great fortune and fame.
>Meanwhile, their spouses described their fine houses
>And how beautiful their children became.
>
>The homecoming queen, who once had been lean,
>Now weighed in at one-ninety-six.
>The jocks who were there had all lost their hair,
>And the cheerleaders could no longer do kicks.
>
>No one had heard about the class nerd
>Who'd guided a spacecraft to the moon;
>Or poor little Jane, who's always been plain;
>She married a shipping tycoon.
>
>The boy we'd decreed "most apt to succeed"
>Was serving ten years in the pen,
>While the one voted "least" now was a priest;
>Just shows you can be wrong now and then.
>
>They awarded a prize to one of the guys
>Who seemed to have aged the least.
>Another was given to the grad who had driven
>The farthest to attend the feast.
>
>They took a class picture, a curious mixture
>Of beehives, crew cuts and wide ties.
>Tall, short, or skinny, the style was the mini;
>You never saw so many thighs.
>
>At our next get-together, no one cared whether
>They impressed their classmates or not.
>The mood was informal, a whole lot more normal;
>By this time we'd all gone to pot.
>
>It was held out-of-doors, at the beautiful shores;
>We ate hamburgers, coleslaw, and beans.
>Then most of us lay around in the shade,
>In our comfortable T-shirts and jeans.
>
>By the fortieth year, it was abundantly clear,
>We were definitely over the hill.
>Those who weren't dead had to crawl out of bed,
>And be home in time for their pill.
>
>And now I can't wait; they've set the date;
>Our fiftieth is coming, I'm told.
>It should be a ball, they've rented a hall
>At the Shady Rest Home for the old.
>
>Repairs have been made on my hearing aid;
>My pacemaker's been turned up on high.
>My wheelchair is oiled, and my teeth have been boiled;
>And I've bought a new wig and glass eye.
>
>I'm feeling quite hearty, and I'm ready to party
>I'm gonna dance 'til dawn's early light.
>It'll be lots of fun; But I just hope that there's one
>Other person who can make it that night.
